Footstools, Pouffes & Ottomans

Footstools: Furniture You Never Knew You Needed

Never underestimate the power of a fabulous footstool.

At Rockett St George, we believe the finishing touches are often the pieces that make a room truly sing - and a beautifully designed footstool, pouffe, or ottoman does exactly that.

Equal parts practical and stylish, these versatile pieces bring texture, comfort, and personality into your home while quietly becoming some of the hardest-working furniture in the room.

Whether styled as a statement centrepiece, paired with your favourite armchair, or used as extra seating when guests descend unexpectedly, our collection is designed to deliver maximum impact in even the smallest spaces.

Velvet Footstools: The Ultimate Luxe Addition

If there’s one thing we’ll always say yes to, it’s velvet.

Soft, sumptuous, and irresistibly tactile, velvet footstools instantly enhance your interiors while adding warmth and depth to your space. Available in a carefully curated palette of rich jewel tones, earthy neutrals, and bold statement shades, these designs are made to stand out beautifully within both contemporary and eclectic homes.

Our square velvet footstools are particularly fabulous for modern living spaces. Structured yet inviting, they create a polished, design-led feel while still delivering all the comfort you could possibly want after a long day.

Perfect positioned in front of a sofa or armchair, they offer the ideal place to kick back with a coffee, cocktail, or slightly over-ambitious Sunday brunch.

The Stylish Alternative To Modular Sofas

Looking for a more flexible approach to lounging? Enter the oversized footstool.

Large square footstools work brilliantly as an alternative to modular sofas, helping create that relaxed, laid-back living room feel without committing to a fully sectional design.

Style one centrally in your seating area to soften the space, add versatility, and create a more sociable atmosphere.

They’re also ideal for homes where flexibility matters.

Need a coffee table one day and somewhere to perch the next?

A generously-sized ottoman does both effortlessly - particularly when topped with a tray full of candles, books, or Friday-night drinks.

Extra Seating, But Make It Stylish

One of the things we love most about footstools and pouffes is their versatility.

These are the pieces that quietly save the day when guests arrive, offering useful extra seating without compromising your aesthetic.

Compact pouffes can easily move between rooms, while larger ottomans provide substantial seating that still feels elegant and considered.

Whether tucked into a bedroom corner, styled beneath a console table, or used as part of your main living room furniture setup, they bring softness and functionality into every corner of the home.

Bold Patterns & Personality-Led Design

At Rockett St George, subtle has never really been our thing.

Alongside timeless velvet finishes, our collection includes playful patterns, unusual textures, and iconic leopard print designs that inject instant personality into your interiors.

Because practical furniture should still feel exciting.

Many of our footstools and ottomans can also be paired with matching sofas and armchairs, allowing you to create a beautifully cohesive living room scheme layered with colour, texture, and character.
