Mustard Moment

Mustard Moments: Sunshine & Warmth Incoming

If there’s one colour guaranteed to lift the mood, brighten a room and bring instant warmth to your interiors, it’s mustard.

Rich, golden and wonderfully inviting, mustard sits somewhere between yellow and ochre, combining the optimism of sunshine shades with the sophistication of earthy, heritage tones.

It's bold without being overpowering, colourful without feeling overwhelming and, in our opinion, one of the most powerful colours to use in the home when you want to be brave in your interior decor choices without feeling like you've overdone it.

Welcome to our Mustard Moments Collection, a carefully curated celebration of golden hues designed to bring warmth, personality and a little everyday joy into your home.

Your Home, Your Rules

At Rockett St George, we're passionate about decorating with confidence, and mustard is one of those magical colours that allows you to make a statement while remaining effortlessly timeless.

It works beautifully in both contemporary and traditional interiors, adding depth, warmth and character wherever it appears.

One of our favourite ways to introduce mustard into the home is through furniture.

A mustard armchair can completely transform a room, becoming an instant focal point while creating a welcoming spot to curl up with a good book, morning coffee or evening glass of wine.

Rich and luxurious, it adds colour in a way that feels sophisticated and grown up.

For those who prefer smaller doses of colour, mustard home accessories are equally impactful.

Wall art featuring golden tones can bring warmth to even the simplest of spaces, helping to create a room that feels layered, personal and full of character. Whether styled as part of a gallery wall or used as a standalone statement, mustard accents have a wonderful ability to draw the eye and anchor a scheme perfectly.

The Devil's In The Details

Lighting is another area where mustard truly shines.

Our collection of mustard homeware includes beautiful ceiling light shades that cast a warm, inviting glow while introducing colour and texture overhead. Pair these with statement neon lighting for an unexpected twist that combines retro energy with contemporary style. Practical lighting that's also a conversation starter? Now you're talking our language.

And then there are the finishing touches.

Mustard candles and candle holders bring warmth both literally and visually, creating beautiful pops of colour on dining tables, mantelpieces, shelves and sideboards.

Styled alone or grouped together, they add softness, atmosphere and that all-important sense of occasion that makes even everyday moments feel that little bit more special.

And then there's its versatility.

Mustard pairs beautifully with deep blues, rich greens, soft neutrals, warm woods and, naturally, black accents for a look that feels bold yet balanced.

It also works wonderfully alongside metallic finishes, bringing out the richness of brass and gold details.

Embrace The Mustard Movement

Whether you're embracing a full mustard moment or simply introducing a few golden accents, mustard brings the party wherever it goes.

Once tried, never forgotten.

Because when it comes to creating a home that's welcoming, uplifting and full of character, mustard opens up a whole new world.
